AirPods are wireless earbuds designed by Apple. They were first announced on September 7, 2016, and have since become one of Apple's most popular accessories. The latest model, AirPods Pro 2, features a scientifically validated Hearing Test, a clinical-grade Hearing Aid, and active Hearing Protection, available with a free software update this fall.
The AirPods Pro 2 also includes Pro-level Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, and Transparency mode, as well as Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking. They are also dust, sweat, and water resistant (IP54) and have a long battery life, with up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge.
AirPods can be used with Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, and can also be used with non-Apple devices, but functionality may be limited. They are also environmentally friendly, with 100% recycled gold, rare earth elements, and aluminum used in their production.
