Diablo IV is an isometric action role-playing game (RPG) where you can harness abilities, skills, and powerful gear to defend your home from demons and otherworldly horrors. The game is set in the open world of Sanctuary and offers replayable, procedurally generated dungeons, as well as a story mode. There are five classes to choose from: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer. Each class has multiple skills and talents to fit your preferred playstyle. It's recommended for new players to start by creating a character in the Seasonal realm and making their way through the story mode first. Seasons are recurring events with challenges, rewards, and gameplay changes. When a season ends, your seasonal characters and their progress are converted to non-seasonal characters. The game's story takes place several decades after the events of Diablo III and introduces a new cast of characters and motivations in the most sinister chapter of the Diablo universe to date.
