Margot Robbie is an Australian actor and producer, born on July 2, 1990, in Dalby, Queensland, Australia. She began her acting career in 2008 on the long-running Australian soap opera "Neighbours," playing series regular Donna Freedman until 2011. After moving to America, Robbie starred in the short-lived ABC series "Pan Am" and landed her breakout role in Martin Scorsese's 2013 film "The Wolf of Wall Street," alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2016, she founded her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, with the mission of producing women-focused projects. Robbie continued to build her film oeuvre in 2015 with "Focus" alongside Will Smith, "Suite Francaise," and a cameo as herself in "The Big Short." In 2016, she landed the role of Harley Quinn in the DC Comics movie "Suicide Squad," and produced her first film through her production company: "I, Tonya," which earned Robbie an Academy Award nomination for best actress. Robbie has since starred in films such as "Bombshell," "Birds of Prey," "Promising Young Woman," "The Suicide Squad," "Amsterdam," and "Babylon." She also starred as Barbie alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken in Greta Gerwig's film about the famous Mattel doll.
