Tom Holland is a British actor best known for playing Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He made his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016) and later starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Holland also starred in Pixar's animated film Onward (2020), Netflix's drama The Devil All the Time (2020), Sony's video game adaptation Uncharted (2022), and the Apple TV+ drama The Crowded Room (2023). He was born in London, England, and began his acting career with a stage role in Billy Elliot the Musical at 12 years old. Holland's first film role came in The Impossible (2010), and he also appeared in How I Live Now (2013), Locke (2013), In the Heart of the Sea (2015), and had a cameo in Billy Elliot the Musical Live (2014).
